The full-day Medieval Workshop presented by UVic's Medieval Studies and History in Art departments featured presentations by UVic researchers and a keynote speaker from the University of London (UK) bringing the middle ages in Cairo and Venice to life. The event also featured musical performances on a Venetian Lute and Oriental oud and other demonstrationa and displays by Pacific Association for Recreating the Middle Ages. (PARMA)
