Drive-Thru Breakfast to make a difference for ADTS
It's a fast and tasty way to support Ann Davis Transition Society just after Family Day and right before Valentine's Day.
The first ever Drive-Thru Breakfast for ADTS rolls out Wednesday, Feb. 12 starting at 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Chances Chilliwack.
"Join us for a quick breakfast and help us support Chilliwack families," says ADTS executive director Patti MacAhonic.
For a minimum $10 donation every donor will be handed a healthy continental breakfast to go, including both juice and coffee, and coupons for local businesses.
"In making the choice to contribute to this event and to Ann Davis Transition Society, you're helping to make a real difference for people of all ages in our community."
There's even a chance to win some great prizes, generously donated by local sponsors.
The fundraising event will also coincide with the launch of the sleek new logo and updated branding for ADTS, she said.
ADTS focuses on abuse prevention, and serving more than 2,300 individuals every year, 600 of whom are children. All ADTS donations directly assist women, children and families. What began as the provision of shelter for abused women and their children, has grown to a full complement of services including individual and group counselling for women, children, youth, men, couples and families, advocacy and community education.
