New face at helm of Burnaby Family Life

Michel Pouliot will be the new executive director of Burnaby Family Life Institute, taking over when Jeanne Fike retires in March.

Pouliot has been the manager of youth services with the Pacific Community Resource Society in Surrey for 10 years. There he helped create two comprehensive and integrated hubs of multidisciplinary services for youth and families, as well as a number of other initiatives. Pouliot has worked with children, youth and families for 23 years since earning a BA in Child and Youth Care Counselling from the University of the Fraser Valley.

He joins BFL in March and will work with Fike for the month transitioning into his new duties.
