Volunteer appreciation gala coming
Volunteer Kootenays, a service of Canadian Mental Health Association Kootenays, is hosting the 8th Annual Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Gala, Friday April 12 at St. Eugene Golf Resort Casino Pavilion. Nominations are now being accepted in four award categories: Individual, Youth, Family, Group.
Do you know a person or a group of people who deserve to be recognized for their considerable volunteer efforts? Nominate them for an award today! Nominations are being accepted until April 1, 2013. Forms and criteria for nomination are available for download at www.volunteerkootenays.ca or for pick up at CMHA Kootenays, 39 -13th Ave S, Cranbrook, BC, V1C 2V4.
This is a great opportunity to recognize your volunteers at a community event. Local businesses and citizens can sponsor a table or purchase individual tickets to donate to the charity of their choice. Other ways to help include donating cash, door prizes, or purchasing a ticket and attending yourself!
