Red Cross rallies behind family

The Canadian Red Cross is assisting a family of two adults, two dogs and four cats affected by a house fire in Vernon March 12.
The couple were forced from their home on 30th Avenue.
The family is in immediate need of a place to live. Anyone with information about available rental accommodation can call 1-800-661-3308.
“Together with the other agencies, we will do all we can to help the residents get back on their feet,” said Cor Zandbergen, Red Cross disaster management volunteer.
A trust fund has been set up at the Vernon CIBC (#5659892). Donations are also being collected at Bikram Yoga.
