Dairy classroom in Chilliwack
Grade 1 and 2 students at Promontory Heights elementary were introduced to the Mobile Dairy Classroom on Tuesday morning where they learned about how cows are milked, what they eat, and how they digest their food.
Mobile Dairy Classroom is a program with the B.C. Dairy Association. They work with local farmers who are within close proximity to the schools where the cows will be brought to the students and milked.
The VanDenbrinks on McGuire Road in Chilliwack provided the two milking cows for Tuesday's demo.
