Legion in Abbotsford awards bursary

The Abbotsford branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has presented a $2,000 bursary from funds collected during its poppy campaign leading up to Remembrance Day.
Jessy M Dame, a student at Thompson Rivers University, is the recipient of the bursary.
The bursary is award from the Poppy Trust Fund to students who are children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of Canadian veterans.
