Prom fundraiser raises money for music education

The Prom fundraiser for the Devon Clifford Foundation took place Saturday night, and featured a dinner, dance and silent auction. It was held at the Sandman Hotel and Suites in Abbotsford.
The event attracted about 100 people.
Last year's event raised more than $9,000 for the foundation, which was established in memory of the former drummer for You Say Party, who died of a brain hemorrhage three years ago.
The purpose of the foundation is to provide music education, instruments and programs for financially impeded youth.
