Volunteer bus drivers needed in Alberni

Fir Park Village and Echo Village seniors’ facilities are looking for volunteers to drive residents in their bus to community events.

“We are now faced with dwindling numbers of bus drivers which has impacted on the number of outings,” program coordinator Leanna Fines said.

Those interested need a valid Class 4 or higher licence, no restrictions, and a clean driver’s abstract (which must be provided). A criminal record check is required.

Please call Fines at 250-724-6541, ext. 253 for more information.
