SPCA lottery back for 2013

The BC SPCA Lottery for animals is back.

Tickets are on sale now, raising funds for urgently needed medical care, sheltering, spay and neuter services, advocacy, adoption and foster care programs and other services provided for homeless and abused animals in BC SPCA shelters across the province.

“The 2013 BC SPCA lottery is our largest ever, with prizes totalling more than $100,000,” said Farrah Rooney, the BC SPCA’s manager of fundraising events. “Not only will you be helping to save the lives of B.C.’s most vulnerable animals, but you’ll have a chance to win a jackpot yourself.”

Tickets are $25 each, three for $55 and five for $80. There are daily prizes throughout May for $2,500 cash prizes, with a larger prize of $5,000 awarded each Friday and a special Mother’s Day prize on May 12 worth $10,000. There’s also an early bird draw on April 1 (deadline to get your ticket is midnight on March 17).

Each winning ticket is re-entered for the daily prizes. To order tickets, call 604-205-5998 (toll free at 1-855-205-5998) or request your tickets online at spca.bc.ca/lottery.
