RICE RAISER

The Rice Raiser campaign  kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the two Save-On-Foods locations in Abbotsford (Whatcom Road and South Fraser Way). FUN FOR FAMILIES

ECODAIRY TOURS

Bakerview EcoDairy (1356 Sumas Way) holds a Family Day Adventure on Monday, Feb. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The event includes free barn tours with a food donation to the Abbotsford Food Bank; otherwise, the cost is $5 for adults (free for kids). Info: ecodairy.ca

LEARNING PLUS

Abbotsford Learning Plus holds two classes next week. On Tuesday, Feb. 12, the topic is “Fraser Valley Gleaners.” On Thursday, Feb. 14, the topic is “Red Rocks and Railroads.” Both sessions are from 10 a.m. to noon at Abbotsford Rec Centre, 2499 McMillan Rd.
