Multi-faith meeting
Kwantlen Polytechnic University will be holding the Women’s Peace for Humanity Conference at its Surrey campus on Feb. 9.
The women-only conference is slated for 1-3 p.m. at the campus’ conference room.
The free event, hosted by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Women’s Auxiliary, will feature speakers from a range of faiths.
Speakers set for the conference include: Kerrie Charnley (First Nations), Kimberly Morrison (Christian), Kirpa Kaur (Sikh), Michele Sam (Aboriginal Ktunaxa) and Susan Katz (Judaism).
