Nominations accepted for Woman of the Year

The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Abbotsford is now accepting nominations for its Myrtle Evertt Woman of the Year Award.

The nominees are women who have made a difference in the community and who are role models for other women.

The closing date for nominations is March 1.

The recipient will be named at a reception and dinner on May 15 at Garden Park Tower (2825 Clearbrook Rd.), starting at 5:30 p.m.

Donations are currently being accepted for the silent auction, which supports the club’s bursary program.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
