In the January 24th 90th commemorative edition of The Abbotsford News we are celebrating this milestone with two great contests. When you receive the paper be careful not to damage the cover as you will have the opportunity to build your very own airplane.
Build a ‘newspaper’ airplane
Create your own paper airplane and win a $500 shopping spree. Simply upload a video of you with your airplane to YouTube or take a photo of you with your airplane and you could win a shopping spree to Sevenoaks Shopping Centre, Abbotsford.

Find the ‘lost’ airplane somewhere in the January 24th edition of The News

We are calling readers to search through the January 24th commemorative edition of The Abbotsford News and find the ‘lost’ airplane, hidden somewhere amongst the 100 pages. The rewards are great! 90 random entries will win mystery prizes to be collected at the News office, at 34375 Gladys Avenue, Abbotsford. All entries will be entered into a random draw to win $500 in cash, donated by Fraser Valley Auto Mall.

How to enter:

Search through the pages of this edition. Find the ‘lost’ airplane.
Email: with the location and page number of the airplane.

Contest rules:

Closing date February 4th, 2013.

Minimum age 18years. Any participant under age must have guardian/parent sign for prize. Employees and immediate relatives of Black Press are not eligible to enter. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Build a newspaper airplane:

The entry must either demonstrate the making of the 'newspaper' plane with a photo or a youtube video. The more creative the better. Photos to be emailed to Video links to be emailed to same address.

Find the 'lost' airplane:

One prize per household only will be awarded. Winners will be notified by email/phone.
