KidsNewWest.ca joins social media

KidsNewWest.ca, a free online resource for New Westminster families, is joining Facebook and Twitter.

Adding the social media presence is in response to surveys on how families want to be communicated with, says a press release.

The website is jointly owned and operated by the Early Childhood Development Committee and the Middle Childhood Development Committee and tries to connect New Westminster families to each other, as well as to community services, resources and events.

The initiative has also created a directory for family friendly businesses.
