Credit union donates $15,000 for music room at Charles Hays

A new music room at Charles Hays Secondary School moved closer to the securing the dollars needed to start construction with a $15,000 donation from Northern Savings Credit Union.
Currently students have to travel to Prince Rupert Middle School for band practice. The new band room would be located on the flat piece of land facing Rainbow Market on Prince Rupert Blvd.
Northern Savings Credit Union's Mark Mastroianni and Stefan Delloch presented a cheque to Prince Rupert Regional Music Society president Kristy Tillman, band instructor Tristen Fox and Charles Hays Secondary School principal Sheila Wells on Jan. 11.
