Beating suspects appear in court

Two men charged with beating a man unconscious outside the Langley City 7-Eleven on Nov. 27, 2012 are back in court today ( Wednesday, Jan. 9.)
Allan Carmichael, 29 and Jordan Jaric, 24, are facing assault charges in Provincial Court in Surrey.
The pair was arrested holding the victim’s coat while standing outside the Army and Navy. A witness called police and said he saw the pair beat the man, who was lying on the road. They took the victim’s jacket.
The accused men and the victim didn’t know each other and the attack was unprovoked, said police at the time. The two arrested appeared intoxicated, said Langley RCMP.
