Rabbi Falik Schtroks – the director of the Centre For Judaism of The Lower Fraser Valley near Crescent Park – joined elected officials from Surrey and White Rock and local families at Semiahmoo Shopping Centre Dec. 9 in lighting the Menorah on the first day of Hanukkah.
Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts, White Rock Mayor Wayne Baldwin and White Rock Couns. Bill Lawrence and Larry Robinson attended.
