Members of the Cloverdale Colts Bantam A1 team spent a couple of hours inside the drafty warehouse at Pacific Community Church Tuesday night filling boxes of food and gifts for needy local families.

The team joined volunteers for the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program, which is getting ready for hamper pick-up day on Dec. 15.

More than 300 Cloverdale residents and families will be helped over the holidays, thanks to donations and support from individuals, schools and businesses in the community.

The Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program is a non-denominational program. To donate or volunteer, call: 604-574-4001 ext, 107.

Donations can be dropped off at Pacific Community Church, 5337 180 Street, Surrey.
