Celebrate a life at Sahali Mall
The Kamloops Hospice Association’s annual Celebrate A Life fundraiser is underway at Sahali Mall.
Celebrate A Life is a way for Kamloops residents to remember deceased relatives and friends during the holidays, while raising awareness and funding for the ongoing operations of the Kamloops Hospice Association.
The event runs to Dec. 21, with visitors invited to decorate the Christmas tree with a memory card and a light.
Each token represents a loved one that has passed and whom their friends and family would like to remember.
There will also be an arts and crafts fair, with items created by volunteers at the hospice and community.
The annual Christmas raffle has a first prize of a queen-size handmade quilt by the Cotton Pickers and a second prize of a handmade wooden cradle, complete with full layette.
All proceeds from the sale will go toward the ongoing operation of the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home.
