Create a painting alongside local artist Bonny Krulicki at the Sto:lo Cultural Experience Series at the Sto:lo Resource Centre on Nov. 24.

Learn about the culture and history, and the inspiration of the artist, bwyse, to preserve the Halkomelem language through her paintings.

The opportunity to create a collaborative piece is part of the event this Saturday at the Sto:lo Resource Centre, at 10-7201 Vedder Road.

It starts with a traditional welcome by local Sto:lo at 11 a.m., followed by the introduction by the artist at 11:30 a.m. and then salmon and bannock lunch by donation at noon.

At 1 p.m. people will be painting with bwyse the artist.
