Glenda Reid: ‘Learning by doing’ in her community
The newly-elected Aldergrove Agricultural Association (AAgA) President, Mike Robinson, is pleased to announce that Glenda Reid, the current Vice-President of the AAgA, was elected in October to a two-year term as a Director of the British Columbia Association of Agricultural Fairs and Exhibitions (BCAAFE).
Reid has served on the board of the Aldergrove Festival Days Society and the AAgA for several years.
Long involved in the 4H movement, Reid recently completed six years on the B.C. 4-H Provincial Council representing the Fraser Valley, as well as, being the B.C. representative to the National 4-H Council.
Reid, who works professionally as a Registered Dietitian, brings a wealth of expertise to these associations.
She says her 20 years of “learning to do by doing” has prepared her for working with teams to achieve goals.
