World Oceans Day, held last weekend at Blackie Spit Park, invited families to discover the wonders of the ocean, right in their own backyard.

Hosted by Friends of Semiahmoo Bay Society and Surrey Parks and Recreation, the free event featured interactive displays, crafts, a 'touch tank', music and more.
