Black Press fund provides nine scholarships

The Abbotsford News' parent company, Black Press, is a regular donor to the University of the Fraser Valley.

The Black Press Lower Mainland Endowment Scholarship fund has provided a disbursement of $10,000.

Nine recipients will be awarded the $1,050 scholarships in the fall.

The scholarship is available to any full-time UFV student who is in the first, second or third year of studies, and plans to continue in an academic or career program.
