Nominees needed for Chamber awards

Nominations are being accepted for the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce’s Celebration of Excellence Awards.

The awards evening provide an opportunity to celebrate Langley businesses and organizations that have made a significant contribution to community spirit, service and quality of life by demonstrating outstanding business leadership, innovation and success.

“We look forward to the Celebration of Excellence each year because it is a great way to honour our local businesses and celebrate as a community,” said Chamber president Kristine Simpson.

“We encourage our members and the public at large to nominate a local business, business person or not-for-profit organization that they feel is deserving of recognition.”

This is the 18th annual

The awards will be presented on Oct. 22 at the Cascades Casino Resort Ballroom.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and the awards at 7 p.m.

Cost is $80 and includes dinner.
