New training option available locally

Stephanie Allen, formerly of Ashland Training Centre, is proud to announce the opening of her new training facility, Alternative Training Solutions!

Alternative Training Solutions is focussed on providing local businesses and individuals with customized training specifically designed towards the client’s needs. ATS also offers a mobile lab so they can come to you. Some of the training ATS will be providing is Microsoft Excel, Customer Service and Introduction to Computers. Also be sure to check out our new webpage at www.alternativetrainings.com for more details.

A member of our community for seven-plus years Stephanie is excited to be launching her new company and putting to good use her experience in facilitation and knowledge of the labour market. Because ATS is a firm believer in the Community, they requested the involvement of Stanley Humphries senior art class to help design and create their logo. Congratulations to Ashley Voykin, Ashley was instrumental in the creation of the Alternative Training Solutions logo and was awarded cash and free training for her role in the creation of the logo (see attached).

Alternative Training Solutions celebrated with their open house on June 18, 2014 and were overwhelmed with the feedback and response from local organizations, service providers and clients. Located at 1410 Columbia Avenue in Castlegar you would be hard pressed to drive by and not notice the new signage adorning the outside of the building.

For more information on Alternative Training Solutions call 250.365.0966, or visit their website www.alternativetrainings.com and you can also find them on facebook. ATS welcomes all inquiries.
