Stewart leads BPW

Former Mission councillor Heather Stewart has been elected president of the BC and Yukon Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) club this past weekend at the provincial conference in Abbotsford.

Stewart, who served as the president of the Mission chapter this past year, said she plans to support activities in each club and increase and retain membership, while trying to establish additional clubs in the province.

“My priority is to improve communication with the club and other organizations,” said Stewart.

There are more than 100 BPW clubs around the world.
