DCT staff changes

A Vernon company celebrating its 50th anniversary is also pleased to announce some new appointments.

David Chambers, president of DCT Chambers Trucking Ltd., has announced John Huntley to vice president and Ryan Chambers to general manager.

“These deserved appointments provide for stability, continuity and strategic planning,” said David.

Huntley’s background, experience and track record provide for corporate direction for the existing operations and for managing growth. He joined DCT early in 1988.

Ryan Chambers strengthened his first-hand knowledge gained from literally growing up in the business with a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Victoria. He has managed the Glen Transport Division and acted as assistant general manager for the organization.

“These position changes add to the leadership of the DCT Chambers Group of Companies,” said David.

Family owned and founded in 1964, DCT Chambers continues to innovate and invest in transport solutions for the forest products industry and more recently, mining, chemicals, petroleum, and construction materials.
