Holy Falafel expands choices, gluten-free too

Holy Falafel restaurant now offers a traditional Turkish coffee with a quick-service format. Holy Falafel can deliver their new imported flavour in less than 30 seconds at their Gloucester Industrial Estates location.

Turkish coffee has been consumed and enjoyed for millennia across the Middle East and Eastern Europe. A highly caffeinated short shot of coffee, it is similar to an espresso, but served with the grounds on the bottom. Turkish coffee is a process that usually takes over 15 minutes to carefully prepare and serve.

Greg Ewasiuk, president of Holy Falafel, says, “To bring the preparation and service time down to 30 seconds while maintaining the same look, taste, smell and feel of the product is an incredible breakthrough.”

Holy Falafel offers authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, which focuses on healthy choices for their menu with fresh ingredients. Their menu covers all types of diets, including vegan and vegetarian options, and now offers gluten-free and gluten-reduced choices as well.

“We have seen a steady increasing shift in the number of our customers looking for gluten-free and gluten-reduced items to match their dietary requirements. Celiac disease is on the rise here in North America, and we are sensitive to these customer needs,” Ewasiuk said.
