Abbotsford emergency equipment company honoured

A company that provides emergency services equipment and is headquartered in Abbotsford has received an Excellence in Customer Satisfaction Award.

The award was announced for Profire Emergency Equipment for the second consecutive year by Spartan Chassis, a business unit of Spartan Motors, Inc.

Spartan recognized several of its original equipment manufacturers and dealers for their achievements during its recent sales training conference in Lansing, Michigan.

Profire provides parts, services and equipment to customers throughout Canada. At its location in Abbotsford, Profire also offers fabrication, warranty administration and pump testing.

The company, which has more than 40 employees, is a division of Safetek Emergency Vehicles and maintains a large inventory at its locations in Abbotsford; Leduc, Alta.; and Mississaugua, Ont.

"We consistently hear of Profire's ability to exceed the customer's needs with its prompt, dedicated and high-quality service," said Michael Bowman of Spartan Chassis in presenting the company with its award.

Profire is responsible for all of the Safetek Group of Companies' parts and loose equipment sales, carries stock for most of the fire industry's major brands, and is the authorized parts centre or distributor for several top brands.
