Guildford Town Centre unveils its new look today
The public is invited to attend the grand opening celebration of Guildford Town Centre’s new $280-million, 213,500-sqare-foot expansion today (Wednesday, Aug. 28).. With more than 70 stores, a new 1,034-seat food court, and a stunning new Centre Court with a glass-enclosed elevator and water feature, the expansion project brings an unparalleled shopping experience to the Fraser Valley.
Guests can shop top national and international retailers, including H&M, Browns Shoes, Forever 21, Aritzia, Jack & Jones, Town Shoes, Kiehl’s since 1851, and SEPHORA as they open to the public for the first time.
Visitors can also view the stunning new 10,000-square-foot outdoor living walls on the exterior of the shopping centre, the largest of their kind in North America.
The celebration will include live entertainment, draws and special giveaways. It will also kick off a $52,000 “Yours for a Year” giveaway from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2, where one lucky guest will receive $1,000 per week for one year in gift cards that can be used throughout the shopping centre.
The Guildford Town Centre public grand opening gets underway at 9:30 a.m. in the Centre Court of the mall (lower level, by The Bay), located at 10355 152 St.
Speakers will include Daniel Fournier, chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Ivanhoé Cambridge; Peggy White, general manager, Guildford Town Centre; and Surrey Coun. Bruce Hayne.
