Talking business fraud

The Surrey Board of Trade will host its second-annual Business Fraud Awareness Dialogue on March 7 from 8-10 a.m. at the Guildford Golf Course, 7929 152 St.

The event will about educate and provide solutions for fraud in the business community. Topics will include small business frauds, counterfeit fraud and identity theft. The event will feature speakers and a question-and-answer period.

The speakers include Const. AJ Prasad and Consst. Raj Kumar of the Economic Crime Unit of the Surrey RCMP, former police officer and Justice Institute program director Mark Lalonde, director of CKR Global, and George Greenwood of Canadian Identity Resources.

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m.

This event is free.
