A salute to senior volunteers

A White Rock home-care business is looking to recognize seniors for their volunteer time and talents.
White Rock Home Instead Senior Care is inviting nominations of volunteer seniors for its 2013 Salute to Senior Service award program.
Eligible adults are those aged 65 and older who volunteer 15 or more hours per month. Nominations will be accepted through March 31, with online voting to take place from April 15-30.
A $500 donation will be made to provincial winners’ non-profit charity of choice; $5,000 will be donated to the national winner’s cause. To nominate, visit www.SalutetoSeniorService.ca
