A crash on Lougheed Highway early Tuesday morning led to the recovery of a stolen Mark’s Work Wearhouse trailer containing $10,000 worth of merchandize.
Ridge Meadows RCMP found a 37-year-old man standing close to where his silver Dodge Durango SUV crashed into a cement barrier. Police were unable to determine whether the man was driving, but arrested him for intoxication.
When police later confirmed his address in the 24500 block of Lougheed Highway, they found the stolen trailer along with another utility trailer.
The trailer was stolen sometime Sunday evening or early Monday at the Mark’s Work Wearhouse store on Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge. It contained various pieces of Windriver clothing, including jackets, shirts, pants and boots.
At this time, police are unsure how much of the merchandise was recovered.
