ShareWEB FIRST: Victim in homicide identified

The man found dead in Salmon Friday night has been identified.
Police report that Tyler William Myers, 22, was found by a passerby on the grounds of Bastion Elementary School on Nov. 21 about 7:30 p.m.
Police say there is no connection between the incident and the school.
Myers, who was known to Salmon Arm RCMP, was last seen alive near the Sullivan campus of Salmon Arm Secondary about 5:30 p.m. the same day, report police.
Police state that the cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy was to be done on Monday, Nov. 24.
Police are requesting the public's assistance.
