The Kamloops Blazers have their work cut out for them tonight.
Coming off an 8-3 shellacking in Brandon on Saturday, the Blue and Orange visit the Crushed Can in Moose Jaw tonight to take on the red-hot Warriors, winners of five straight at home.
The Blazers and the Warriors each head into the game in first-place ties in their respective divisions — Kamloops in the B.C. Division and Moose Jaw in the East Division.
If the Blazers are going to come out on top tonight, they're going to have to tighten things up defensively — in the last three games, they've given up 24 goals on 130 shots.
The Warriors — led by Jason Bast's 13 goals — have put the puck in the net 58 times this season, giving them the WHL lead in goals scored.
After tonight's game, the Blazers will travel to Swift Current to take on the Broncos tomorrow before closing out the road trip with games Friday and Saturday in Prince Albert and Saskatoon.
