Heat, Excel enter PCSL playoffs

Two of Kamloops’ three Pacific Coast Soccer League teams are in Kelowna this weekend for playoffs.

The Heat Women’s Reserve Division squad, which captured the league crown, will play Penticton Pinnacles in their semifinal match on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Parkinson Rec Center.

The winner advances to the title game on Sunday at 10 a.m.

The Excel Men’s Reserve Division club will play the Okanagan Whitecaps in their semifinal match on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Apple Bowl, with the winner playing for the title on Sunday at 10 a.m..

The Excel Premier Division men’s side did not make the playoffs.
