The Kamloops Heat are regular-season champions of the Pacific Coast Soccer League’s Women’s Reserve Division.

The Heat claimed the title in only their second year of play by defeating North Shore 5-4 on Saturday at Hillside Stadium.

Kamloops is 11-1-1 and wraps up the regular season on Sunday in Chilliwack. Challange Cup playdowns are set for the Apple Bowl and the Parkinson Rec Center in Kelowna on July 25 and July 26.

Meanwhile, the Kamloops Excel of the PCSL Premier Men’s Division split a pair of games on the weekend — defeating Surrey 3-2 and dropping a 1-0 decision to Vancouver.

The Excel, tied with Fraser Valley for fifth in the nine-team division, close out the regular season against Victoria on Sunday at 1 p.m. at McArthur Island.
