The Kamloops Venom, fresh off two upset playoff series victories, host the Vernon Tigers Thursday night in Game 2 of the Thompson-Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League championship.

Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Arena.

The Venom reached the final by defeating Kelowna and Kamloops, with both best-of-three series going to the deciding game and the Venom winning on the road.

The league championship is a best-of-five series, with Game 3 on Saturday in Vernon (7:30 p.m. at the Wesbild Centre) and Game 4, if necessary, back in Kamloops on July 21.

Game 1 was played Tuesday night in Vernon, with the result available online at kamloopsthisweek.com.
