Not bottling up her gratitude

Editor:

On Saturday morning, I was a designated driver for the bottle drive my son’s class was doing to raise money for its trip to Victoria at the end of the year.

We were given a section to do in Brocklehurst.

(This is not common knowledge, but all schools need to contact the city to get a permit to do bottle drives.)

I did not realize until that morning how generous some people can be and want to personally thank everyone who gave something.

I would especially like to thank those people who gave money out of the goodness of their hearts, although we were only asking for bottles.

One lady gave my son $10, saying, “I just took our bottles in, but this is about how much they came to.”

I could not believe her generosity.

If you are reading this, you know who you are.

I want to say thank you so very much for your kindness.
