The Valleyview Overlanders Lions Club held its 16th annual boat, motor and trailer raffle draw on Father’s Day and I would like to let your readers know who won the prizes this year.
The draw was made by Rona staff member Davey.
Winner of the boat motor and trailer was Randy Nowicki.
Second prize of $400 Cooper’s Foods cash cards was won by Joanette Goddard and the third prize of the BBQ was won by Krista Belton.
All winners are from the Kamloops area.
The boat, motor and trailer were from Domenic’s Marine Ltd., while the cash cards were donated by Cooper’s Foods stores in Westsyde, Brocklehurst, Valleyview and downtown.
The third prize of a barbecue with side burner was donated by the Mt. Paul Rona store.
We would like to thank the following retail stores for their support: Cooper’s Foods, Wal-Mart, Rona, Canadian Tire (North Shore and Aberdeen locations), Safeway in North Kamloops; Robo Car Wash, Eighth Street Chevron; Interior Savings Centre (Valleyview Mall branch), Funk Signs Inc., Falcon Lanes and Sun Valley Gas.
We would also like to thank all those who bought tickets.
The funds generated will go to the Kamloops BMX Club and to Royal Inland Hospital to help with the purchase of an electric cardiology bed.
