Updated: July 16, 2009 11:34 AM
Day passes are on sale for the 17th annual Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival, Aug. 14 to Aug. 16.
The weekend-pass rate is now $125 per adult.
Configuration at the festival will change this year to deal with sound conflict between the various stages.
The Alley Stage won’t be included, but will have a low-key volunteer performance stage to let those who give their time to ensure the festival comes off well a chance to showcase their talents.
The Barn Stage will be changed to become a second event stage, complete with a beer garden in the redesigned Boogie Bar-N.
Headliners this year include Johnny Winter, Dr. John, Serena Ryder and the Sam Roberts Band.
