A Westsyde man missing since Saturday was found dead Tuesday.
Benjamin Smith, 37, was found down a ravine near the Deep Lake area above Westsyde, near Kamloops.
Smith is said to have been an avid hiker, but wasn’t equipped to be outdoors overnight.
Smith left on a hike on Saturday, but was not reported missing until noon on Sunday.
It is thought that Smith had health issues, but he did not take his medication with him on the hike.
The death is not being considered suspicious.
