Kamloops RCMP Const. Kelly Butler talks to an owner who left his small dog in a parked vehicle with the windows rolled up during a recent hot day in Kamloops. A passersby reported the dog to the police and the BCSPCA. The canine was fine, although pet owners are reminded to never leave pets in vehicles even with windows down — especially this week, as temperatures are expected to remain above 30 C.
