Cycling for climate change

One world. One goal. One signature — yours.

This is the goal of Paul Hogarth.

He’s biking across Canada to collect three million signatures to show the federal government Canadians are committed to saving the environment and economy.

“Canada can still be a leader of resources to the world, but we need to take responsibility to the impact we have on the only planet we will ever call home,” Hogarth said.

And the entire Hogarth family — Paul, Nicole and their five children — will be riding into Kamloops on Sept. 2.

Starting in Vancouver, the author and activist is pedaling his way to Ottawa by Oct. 24, when he will be joined by 100,000 other Canadians on Parliament Hill for the 350 celebration, which is a global movement to raise awareness about the international climate treaty.
