Ashcroft RCMP say they have found the body of a Skeetchestn elder who went missing after his boat flipped over in the Thompson River on Aug. 19.
Although all the details haven't been released, police say the body of Greg Ignace, 70, was found in Ashcroft. More information is expected later today.
It's believed Ignace was trying trying to restart a stalled motor on his small fishing boat when it capsized.
He wasn't wearing a lifejacket when he fell into the river, police say.
