Nobody’s believed to be missing, but police are looking for the owner of a boat that washed up along the shore of the North Thompson River on the weekend.
The small aluminium boat was found by police on a sandbar near the Halston Bridge.
Anyone with information about the boat can call Kamloops Mounties at 250-828-3000.
Missing man
Police are looking for the public’s help in tracking down a homeless man who has been missing for more than two months.
Kamloops RCMP Sgt. Scott Wilson said Dwayne Johnson hasn’t been seen since June 22.
The 48-year-old is described as a thin, white man standing six-foot-one with
short grey and brown hair.
He often wears large square-frame glasses.
Wilson said Johnson, a drug addict, is believed to be homeless.
