Mounties are looking for suspects who made off with $20,000 worth of stolen goods after a brazen daylight residential break-in at a Westsyde home on Monday.
Kamloops RCMP Sgt. Scott Wilson said cops were called to the home, in the 3100-block of Dohm Road, just before 11 a.m.
“It was determined access was gained by prying a window sometime after 8:30 this morning,” he said Monday.
Missing is a variety of items, including a 2006 Yamaha Grizzly quad, a Nikon digital camera, a 16-inch gold chain and a solitaire diamond ring.
Investigators estimate the total value of the stolen goods at $20,000.
Wilson said police are looking for two vehicles — a light grey, mid-1990s model Chevrolet or Ford pickup truck and a late-model grey SUV, both of which were seen in the area around the time of the break-in.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
