A unique opportunity has just become available to those looking for property in the Shuswap.

Lots at West Beach Village, a development on the north shore of Shuswap Lake in Lee Creek, are already selling like hotcakes.

“They’re selling fast at unbelievable prices of $99,900 for an RV site on the lake,” said developer Mike Rink.

“The RV sites are for sale and ready to use this summer.”

But it won’t just be RV sites by the time West Beach Village is done.

Rink, senior project manager with New Future Developments, said the former campground site will soon be home to 100 condo units, 46 cottage units, four cabins and dozens of park-model RVs — in addition to the standard RV lots.

And it’s all right on Shuswap Lake.

“There’s no other site on the entire Shuswap that is as large with as long a beach or as well-located,” Rink said, adding that the pond at the centre of the development will increase the shoreline and allow more buyers to live on the waterfront.

“One of the outstanding amenities of this place is the pond. The pond creates another couple-thousand square feet of protected waterfront.”

The RV sites on the north side of the development are already completed and the remainder are expected to be done later this month.

Rink said a number of the cottage and condo units will also be released for sale in late July, starting at a price of $299,000.

In addition to the pond, other amenities include a marina, a pool, boat storage, a restaurant and 2,000 square feet of sand beach.
