Kamloops Arts Council Main Gallery

FUEL: Face your fears, Understand the ultimatum, Exert your will to change, Live what you learn continues to Nov. 21.

The sculpture by Donovan Pettigrew is inspired by the movement of energy from the sun to the earth, into seeds, trees, and people.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., (closed from noon to 1 p.m.), on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday.

Kamloops Arts Council Wilson House Gallery

115 Tranquille Rd.

Inspired Beauty, a series of graphics, collages and oils by Marianna Abutalipova, is on display to Nov. 25.

The artist draws her inspiration from the colours of the four seasons.

■ Jayce Salloum, History of the Present (selected works 1985-2009) is on display now to Jan. 3

The multi-media exhibit is a retrospective of the work Salloum, a renowned photographer, has created and collected.

■ Artwork created by local children is on display in the gallery’s BMO Open Gallery.

The exhibition is sponsored by Make Children First, a non-profit agency dedicated to creating a caring community where all children thrive.

The gallery is open weekdays, except Thursdays, and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Thursdays, the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Sundays, it is open from noon to 4 p.m.

Gallery admission is $3 for adults and senior couples, $2 for students and seniors, $5 for families and free for children under six.

Thursdays from 5 p.m. to closing is pay-what-you-can admission.
